Live singing is a special treat for you and your guests. It helps make your civil marriage service more personal, memorable and romantic. Music is said to be the universal language of mankind and wedding singing certainly presents the opportunity to bring all your guests together to capture the moment.
- Entertaining the guests during the signing of the register
- To make your wedding unique and distinctive
- To include songs and lyrics that are meaningful to you
- To add character to the ceremony & create a special memory
- As a surprise gift to your guests
- To create a sense of occasion & an atmosphere of celebration!
In the UK, a civil registrar wedding ceremony cannot include hymns, religious songs, religious readings or prayers. In fact, it is against the law to perform religious music during a civil wedding service. Please note that for civil weddings, song choices should be agreed with your registrar in advance.
PLACES IN THE CEREMONY WHERE YOUR WEDDING SINGER COULD SING:
- At the start of the wedding to set the scene
- For the arrival of the bride
- In place of a Hymn
- During a candle lighting ceremony
- During Communion
- While the bride and bride groom exit

A beautiful song sung by a professionally trained Wedding Singer, helps to make the day even more special and I have an extensive selection of songs available. Advice on the ‘Wedding Singer’ repertoire is included in the fee for singing, but to take a look at my recommendations see the Wedding Singer repertoire pages.
Please ask me if there is something specific you are looking for that you can’t find on my website and I will do my best to help.
